In response, Indian openers Yashasvi Jaiswal and KL Rahul began cautiously under the lights, scoring 12/0 in three overs. However, both were dismissed within the first 10 overs, leaving Virat Kohli and Shubman Gill to take charge. Kohli’s departure in the 15th over further dented India’s middle order, placing all the responsibility on Rishabh Pant.
