The Dallas Cowboys are limping toward the finish line of the 2024 NFL season as they’ve been hindered by injuries throughout the year.
The Cowboys lost starting quarterback Dak Prescott to a hamstring injury before eventually losing defensive back Trevon Diggs to another knee injury.
Dallas has been banged up throughout the season, which has led to some rough losses, though the bright side is that it should be better positioned to win games in 2025 with good health.
Until then, the Cowboys have two games left on their schedule, starting with a Week 17 matchup against the rival Philadelphia Eagles.
Unlike Dallas, Philadelphia has plenty of things left to play for as it could claim the No. 1 seed in the NFC and secure a first-round bye and home-field advantage in the playoffs.
Ahead of the NFC East game, the Cowboys announced several roster moves.
“Reserve/Injured: WR CeeDee Lamb, CB Amani Oruqariye. Signed from Practice Squad: LB Darius Harris. Activated from Reserve/Injured-DTR: T Asim Richards. Elevated from practice squad: CB Troy Pride, C Dakoda Shepley,” Jon Machota of The Athletic wrote on X.
The Dallas Cowboys added TE Princeton Fant (calf) to the injury report following the team’s practice on Saturday, and his status for the game is questionable.

The biggest name here is Lamb, who’s been shut down for the rest of the season due to his shoulder injury.
The wide receiver had been playing through it, but the organization is making the call to place him on injured reserve so as not to aggravate it further.
The rest of the moves are standard procedure, so the roster should be set when they take on the Eagles.
