DAMS have signed Alpine junior, Nicola Lacorte for 2025 F3 season.
Lacorte’s move into F3 comes amidst a difficult season in FRECA which saw him only finish 21st with three points, achieved through two separate top-ten finishes.
The 17 year-old had however finished tenth in Formula Regional Oceania Championship with one victory.
As he prepares to graduate into F3 for next season, Lacorte is “delighted” to join DAMS, who are taking over Jenzer’s entry from next season onwards.
“I’ve learnt a lot from my experiences of 30 car grids in FRECA this year, which will be important with a similar size field in F3. My goal for the campaign is to maximise my performance and look to score points whenever possible.”
DAMS Team Owner, Charles Pic added: “It’s great to have Nicola on board for 2025 following the tests in Jerez and Barcelona earlier this month. We’re looking forward to seeing him develop throughout the campaign.
“With the team’s proven methods in other series, we’re aiming to help one another to achieve great results.”
Lacorte will partner the returning Matias Zagazeta with a third driver to be announced in due course.
