Shedeur Sanders Sends 6-Word Message After Travis Hunter Wins Heisman

The NFL is about to welcome two studs from Colorado.

One player has already received the highest individual honor in college football.

Hybrid star Travis Hunter was just named the Heisman trophy winner.

While he failed to lead his team to the playoffs, unlike Boise State’s Ashton Jeanty, his big-name profile, media attention, and two-way dominance eventually tilted the scale in his favor.

With that in mind, fellow Buffalo Shedeur Sanders congratulated him on social media.

He shared a brief yet heartfelt message on X, telling him how proud he was of him and giving him some love.

“Proud of ya bro love ya,” Sanders said.

Hunter and Sanders go a long way back.

They played together at Jackson State when Deion Sanders took off, and they moved to Colorado together once the coach joined the program.

Hunter has been one of the most exciting players to watch in all of football for years now.

He excelled as a pass-catching wide receiver, torching opposing defensive backs, piling up yards after the catch, and being a can’t-miss target in the endzone.

Then, he moved to the other side of the field to shadow the opposition’s best pass-catcher as a cornerback.

Some have deemed him the best player in this class, and while he’s not likely to go No. 1 in the NFL Draft, he’s likely to be the first non-quarterback off the board.

His chances of having Shedeur Sanders as his teammate next year are slim but never none.
