Days Of Our Lives Stars Shine At Day of DAYS: See What You Missed

Executive Producer Ken Corday, beside veteran star Deidre Hall (Marlena), shared his thoughts on DAYS’s renewal. “It’s fantastic. We’re guaranteed until September of 2026,” he raved to Digest. “I think there will be much more to come. As I’ve said in interviews, we’re looking at 65 [years] now, not 60.”

Stephen Nichols (Steve) escorted his DAYS daughter, Abigail Klein (Stephanie), down the red carpet for the second year in a row, since Mary Beth Evans (Kayla) was MIA. “She’s on her anniversary trip this weekend,” Nichols explained to Digest. “This thing always falls around her anniversary. So she’s in Ojai with a bunch of friends and having a good old time.”

Estranged Salem couple Brandon Beemer (Shawn) and Martha Madison (Belle) were on hand ahead of their return to the show. “I’m back for the show’s 59th anniversary episode [this] week,” noted Madison, who will eventually be followed by Beemer. On Instagram, Madison revealed that she’ll be sticking around for the long haul, writing, “I’m thrilled to finally be able to share that I am back in Salem full time and am loving every second of the drama. Trust me when I say you will too! Stay tuned for Belle’s return this Friday, Nov 8th!

Viewers have come to love Raven Bowens and Carson Boatman’s sweet chemistry as Chanel and Johnny. Although the fictional twosome has hit a few major speed bumps of late, fans remain optimistic about their future as a couple. Boatman had a blast at Day of Days, writing on Instagram, “What a great time this weekend celebrating the show and the fans. So grateful to be a part of it all. ♥️”

Since their characters began residing in the Horton house together Billy Flynn (Chad) and Susan Seaforth Hayes (Julie) have forged a strong bond both on screen and off.

Cherie Jimenez (Gabi) and Al Calderon (Javi) were eager to experience Day of DAYS together. “I’m excited. It’s both of our first time,” gushed Jimenez. Calderon concurred: “The most intimidating thing is being the new guy, but it’s also kind of refreshing to be the new guy. People get to meet me in real time, which is nice.”

Hall and Robert Scott Wilson (Alex, ex-Ben) reflected on DAYS’s renewal to Digest. “We do so well for Peacock that it’s a natural,” said Hall. Wilson added that he’s “super-grateful. It’s a new shot of life. We live to fight another day.”

Dan Feuerriegel has made EJ his own since taking over the role in 2021, and DAYS fans have welcomed him with open arms. After the event, the actor cheered on Instagram, “What an incredible ‘Day of Days’ 2024! 🎉 A huge thank you to all the amazing fans who joined us and made the event unforgettable. Your energy and enthusiasm truly shine! 😊 We wouldn’t be able to do this without you…. Here’s to more unforgettable moments together! 🙌”

During the Q&A segment, Susan Seaforth Hayes (Julie) recalled her first time seeing her future husband, the late Bill Hayes (ex-Doug), at the studio. “I looked across the room and there was a new cast member wearing a pair of striped pants,” said Seaforth Hayes. “He turned around and I thought it was the most gorgeous man I had ever seen in my life… He turned out to be the man I married and the man I got to work with.” She went on to thank DAYS fans for the support they’ve shown her in the wake of her husband’s passing and noted that she expected that viewers would similarly rally behind Deidre Hall as the show addresses the recent passing of Drake Hogestyn (John).

Elia Cantu and Galen Gering have plenty to smile about. They get to play one of the soap’s happiest duos, Jada and Rafe. On Instagram, Cantu gushed, “A heartfelt THANK YOU to all the incredible fans who joined us at our Day of Days event this year. Your support & dedication through 60 amazing season means everything. It was such a joy meeting each of you & spending time with my Days family. I’m truly grateful for all the love. Thank you for making this journey so special! ❤️”

There’s always lots of tension between Brady and Kristen, but Eric Martsolf and Stacy Haiduk only radiate joy off camera. .

Emily O’Brien, who’ll be returning as Gwen, was introduced wearing her Theresa wig, then whipped it off and announced that Gwen was coming back to town. Stacy Haiduk helped smooth her real locks into place.

Jackée Harry (Paulina), with TV son-in-law Lamon Archey (Eli), was delighted to have one-on-one time with viewers at the event. “They tell you what they like about your character, what they don’t like about your storyline, what they hate about what’s going on, and what they wish for you,” said Harry. “They’re enthralled.”

John-Paul Lavoisier received a warm welcome from fans, who are happy to see Philip back on the canvas.

Being on the show for decades hasn’t lessened Josh Taylor’s (Roman) love for what he does. “There’s not a day I don’t get in that car after work and go, ‘Damn, this was fun,’ ” shared the actor during the Q&A with fans.

Vets Wally Kurth (Justin) and Judi Evans (Bonnie) are pros at portraying happily married. They’ve been a Salem supercouple and close pals for decades.

Lamon Archey (Eli) shared an update on the newest addition to his family, one-year-old daughter Kennedy. “She just started walking maybe a month or so ago,” revealed the proud pop, who noted that fatherhood “has always been amazing. But being at the age I’m at now, I find it a lot easier and a lot more calming than it used to be. I’m experienced. I know what to expect, and I have the bigger kids to help, too.”

Although Tate and Holly are currently on the outs, Leo Howard and Ashley Puzemis are holding out hope for a reconciliation sometime down the line.

Fans enjoy seeing the men they adore and you can bet Leo Howard (Tate), Dan Feuerriegel (EJ), Brandon Barash (ex-Stefan) and Eric Martsolf (Brady) didn’t disappoint! Barash and Martsolf, along with Kurth and Boatman, performed for fans under the auspices of their band, The Day Players.

The always fit Linsey Godfrey (Sarah) looked chic in a crop top.

Paul Telfer, who celebrates his 10-year anniversary as Xander next March, still delights in playing the complicated anti-hero. “Xander’s willing to do anything for his family,” acknowledged Telfer. “But he’s still doing it in this kind of really selfish way.”

Sal Stowers (Lani) loves reuniting with her daytime dad, James Reynolds (Abe), as much as he loves interacting with the show’s devoted fan base. “Throughout the years, it’s just been a tremendous joy in hearing how much they love Days of our Lives,” said the actor during the Q&A with fans.

As Salem former DA Melinda Trask, Tina Huang gives new meaning to the word cutthroat. Fortunately, she got to show off her fun feisty side at Day of DAYS. After the event, she took to Instagram and wrote, “Thanks to all the lovely fans who came out for #DayofDays2024 and shared their appreciation and love of Melinda.”
