The alleged grandmother of Love Is Blind star Tyler Francis’ three children, Lovetta Thomas, has hit back after the reality star claimed that he didn’t “think” his kids knew what he looked like in episode 10.
“YOUR KIDS don’t know what you look like??? THIS CAN’T BE REAL … He lies with a STRAIGHT FACE!!! AND THE OSCAR GOES TO…. Like it’s really funny at this point!!!” Lovetta wrote alongside a clip of the Love Is Blind episode she shared via Instagram on Wednesday, October 16. “AND who named the twins Tyler??? What’s your middle name??? Well one of my girls name is… Kamari ‘Lee’ Can yall guess Tyler’s middle name?? What about the girls birth certificate? This is a Game Now!!!”
Tyler, 35, quickly went from being a fan favorite to the villain of season 7 after he waited until two weeks before his wedding to Ashley Adionser to reveal that he had fathered three children. While the account manager told Ashley, 32, he had only donated sperm to a “couple he knew,” the reality of the situation might be somewhat different.
Life & Style exclusively revealed that after Love Is Blind season 7 finished filming, the custody case involving the three children was reopened. Bri Thomas, the mother of Tyler’s kids, filed a petition for custody of the children in October 2021. It was then settled in May 2022. However, in January 2024, the case was reopened and now has a hearing scheduled for next month on November 15.
The discovery of the child custody case came on the heels of rumors swirling about Tyler’s relationship with his kids. At first, Lovetta was the only one who had spoken out regarding where the account manager stood with the children, but Bri soon began posting claims of her own.
“Yes, I am the mother of Tyler’s three children. I’m trying really hard to do this the right way, but I have no understanding why he would characterize his relationship with his children as he has,” Bri wrote in a since-deleted Instagram post on October 10. “Especially in consideration of how patient and considerate I’ve been. I guess I have to speak on this, despite trying so hard not to. ‘Sperm babies’ they are not.”
Hours later, she posted another set of photos and wrote, “We can start with the smallest lie regarding my ‘uninvolved’ children’s father. ‘I spent Christmas last year alone, cooking greens….’ Tyler did not spend Christmas ‘22 alone. He spent it at his mom’s with family, that included the oldest, Kyreaux.”
Bri eventually deleted that post as well, but on Tuesday, October 15, she returned to Instagram with more to say.
“All I will say is everything being said about me and my children better be cleared up BY TYLER or I WILL EXPOSE EVERYTHING!” Bri stated in her Instagram Story. “As I’ve stated previously, I am trying REALLY hard to not say anything because at the end of every single day I have to be strong for my children, but I will not allow my name to continuously be drug through the mud like this.”
Bri continued, “I did not ask for this and the kids and I DEFINITELY do not deserve any of it. PLEASE DO NOT MAKE ME TAKE IT THERE, TYLER. There is absolutely nothing I am not willing to expose. And please save all your false promises of clearing everything up. If I do not see ACTIONS I will assume this is where you want this to go. I promise you, I will take it there. I am tired.”
Tyler’s friend Jake Fritsche came to his defense in a TikTok video and admitted that he had “made some mistakes,” but he asked that viewers “wait for more information to come out” before jumping to conclusions about the situation. Tyler, on the other hand, has not addressed any of the allegations yet.
