The Chicago White Sox are coming off one of the worst seasons in Major League Baseball history as they finished with only 41 wins and 121 losses.

In a season that saw three teams make the postseason out of the American League Central, the White Sox have their work cut out for them ahead of 2025.

The White Sox fired their Manager Pedro Grifol during the 2024 season, and Grady Sizemore took over for the remainder of the season.

As the White Sox search for the right person to fill the position in 2025, they have narrowed the search down to three names.

According to USA Today’s Bob Nightengale on ‘X,’ the finalists for the White Sox Manager job include Will Venable, Phil Nevin, and Craig Albernaz.

The finalists for the position include Venable, who is the Texas Rangers Associate Manager, Phil Nevin, who is the former Manager of the Los Angeles Angels, and Albernaz, who is the Cleveland Guardians bench coach.

Venable and Albernaz appear to be finalists for the Miami Marlins Manager job as well, so it will be interesting to see how things shape out.

Nightengale explains that both the White Sox and the Marlins want to have a Manager hired by next week when GM meetings begin.

After missing the postseason for the third straight year, the White Sox will look to drastically turn things around next season.
