The Cincinnati Bengals and Baltimore Ravens are coming off one of the most exciting Thursday Night Football games in recent history.
Thursday Night Football doesn’t always provide a lot of excitement for fans, but this game certainly proved to be one for the record books.
Joe Burrow and Lamar Jackson went back and forth all game, and the Bengals had a chance to tie the game in the waning seconds of the fourth quarter.
While Ja’Marr Chase caught a touchdown to cut the Bengals’ deficit by one point, head coach Zac Taylor elected to go for two instead of kicking the PAT, which would have likely brought the game into overtime.
Bengals fans might be wallowing in this loss, albeit in an exciting game, but there were a few key takeaways from this contest.
One of them, as Cameron Wolfe pointed out on X, was a new record that Chase set during the game.
Chase has now caught 11 receiving touchdowns of over 60 yards, which is the most by any player in NFL history under the age of 25.

Chase has been an impactful player in this offense since he stepped foot in the league, and he continues to get recognized at a league-wide level.
The combination of Burrow and Chase has been something to marvel at, as their connection is undeniable.
Fans hope to see these two create some magic in the playoffs this year, but they need to put in a lot of work to get back to the postseason.
