Quite a bit is happening with this season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. However, Dorit Kemsley has been at the center of most of it, whether it’s due to her issues with Sutton Stracke or if it’s because of her recent encounter with Camille Grammer.
Now, Sutton is explaining why she previously commented about Dorit’s appearance, and she’s also discussing their overall issues.
Fans will recall that Sutton recently played a game with Lisa Barlow, in which they had to guess the identities of reality TV stars based on descriptions. During the game, Lisa called Dorit pretty, and Sutton made an off-handed comment about anyone being pretty with plastic surgery. Of course, this prompted Dorit to respond and question why Sutton hasn’t had any work done if it makes everyone pretty.
Recently, Sutton sat down for an interview with US Weekly, where she was asked about her comments regarding her co-star. According to Sutton, “When I said that I was playing a game on MTV. So it was just supposed to be funny and stupid.”

She then admitted that “there’s no doubt” that Dorit is a stunning woman. Still, it’s notable that Sutton’s comment about Dorit’s looks came after they had completed that part of the game. It appears she said it just to be shady, as they’d already figured out the identity of the person for the game. They could have simply moved on to the next person instead of adding more insults.
Of course, Sutton also talked to Page Six about her recent blow-up with Dorit from the show while they were on a sprinter van. According to her, sprinter vans are “where the devil lives” for housewives.”
Regarding why they had issues during the episode, “I think that Dorit kind of missed my point, which was really about Erika whispering to Kyle, ‘That’s not what she said [about Mellencamp].’ And the whole point of [my] sisterhood [exercise] was that we can say what we want when we want to without fear that you’re going to be ostracized.”
She then said, “That part was where I always kind of have [had] a problem because I’ve said things, and then people turn on me, and we’ve seen that with me a lot [on the show]. I just want all of us to be able to say what we feel without this looming fear that we’re going to not be spoken to, and that was kind of the point.”
Sutton then added, “So when Erika did the whisper, I wanted to bring it up. That’s where I was going. It had nothing to do with what Dorit had said [about Mellencamp].”
She also said that she was worked up because she was about to go on a trip and couldn’t find her credit card.
When asked if things get worse with Dorit, Sutton says, “Well, I think a fire was lit. I think we’re going to have to wait and see.”
