Taylor Swift Eras Tour: A breakdown of Taylor Swift’s record-breaking Eras Tour in numbers
Three album announcements: At the beginning of the Eras Tour, Swift had 10 albums out. She had also released two of her re-recorded albums for Fearless and Red.
She was already singing songs from each of those albums across her three-and-a-half hour show every night (excluding her self-titled debut album).
But while on the road, Swift dropped three albums for fans with entirely new songs she incorporated into the setlist and surprise song segment of the concert.
During her Nashville show on May 5 2023, the singer shocked fans by revealing the new cover and announcing a release date for her re-mastered album, Speak Now.
The new album came out July 7 and brought us six new tracks including I Can See You, which starred Swift’s ex Taylor Lautner and Joey King in the music video.
“I love this album because it tells a tale of growing up, flailing, flying and crashing… and living to speak about it,” Swift wrote on X.
Then on August 11, 2023, at her final Los Angeles show, the pop star announced mid-concert her next re-recorded album 1989 would drop on October 27.
The singer had teased the announcement for the whole show, wearing blue versions in place of her usual tour outfits, which is the colour of her 1989 era.
Her third album drop was announced at the 2024 Grammy Awards. During her acceptance speech, Swift revealed she had a brand new 11th studio album called The Tortured Poets Department.
After the album dropped on April 19, 2024, Swift incorporated a whole new segment for the album in her show, which debuted at her first European show of the tour in Paris.
