Seemingly all of the attention will be on Kirk Cousins but there are other players who will play consequential roles in the Week 14 tilt. Check out the Vikings’ depth chart for some examples.

Indeed, we should consider what’s taking place on defense. Brian Flores has found a way of building a dominant group out of the players available to him. Yes, passes are sometimes too easy to complete, but the run defense is elite and the pass rush fearsome. So, too, does Minnesota do a nice job of forcing turnovers. Harrison Phillips, Blake Cashman, Josh Metellus, Jonathan Greenard, Andrew Van Ginkel, and several others are all playing a starring role.

On offense, Minnesota will be looking for Aaron Jones to get back to his usual self. The Vikings’ offense is different when they can run the ball effectively. Add a productive Jones onto the pass-catching trio of Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison, and T.J. Hockenson and things will be difficult to shut down, especially since Sam Darnold has been playing so well lately.

Consider the rest of the depth chart as the game approaches at noon.
