The Vikings’ Depth Chart Rolling into Week 9

Losing Christian Darrisaw hurts. Really, really badly. The Vikings’ depth chart — even with the recent addition — doesn’t have anyone like him.

Put simply, the LT1 is a stud who is essentially irreplaceable. Even still, Minnesota has tried to find a replacement. Earlier in the week, Kwesi Adofo-Mensah pulled off a trade for Jacksonville’s Cam Robinson. The general sense one gets is that most people are enthused about the move, but we’ll see how it shakes out.

The boosts don’t stop there.

The Vikings will be getting T.J. Hockenson back, someone who could help with converting third downs (and potentially fourth downs). Plus, there’s the boost that could come from inserting Dalton Risner into the offensive line. Can the veteran offer some help at right guard? More than a few people have speculated about the possibility.

The Vikings and Colts will take place tonight on Sunday Night Football. Pulling off the win will mean sitting at 6-2.
