Keeping up with the relationships of reality TV stars can be a bit complicated. This is especially the case when it comes to Bre Tiesi from Selling Sunset and Nick Cannon. The two have a child together, but most people who follow them don’t realize they’re still together. Recently, Bre explained their nontraditional dynamic and said she doesn’t want a regular romantic union.
Bre, 33, joined the cast of Selling Sunset in 2023 for its sixth season. This came after she gave birth to her son, whom the couple named Legendary Love. Nick has 12 children by six women, including the legendary Mariah Carey.
Recently, Bre was a guest on the Wednesdays podcast, where she discussed quite a bit. This includes her career in real estate and being a cast member on Selling Sunset. However, one of the juiciest parts of the interview came when she discussed her dynamic with Nick. Specifically, she dispelled the rumors that they co-parent instead of being in a relationship.
According to Bre, “We don’t co-parent; we are very much together, and that’s why people are confused.”
The interviewer then asked Bre to explain what that meant. “Me and my partner [Nick] have been on and off for years, and basically, he has other partners, and we’re just open and happy and that’s our thing,” Bre said.
Bre was then asked how she would define what she has with Nick, 44. Bre responded, “People call it all kinds of sh**, I call it, I just do what I wanna do. Like, I’m not a jealous person. I don’t care. I don’t want a conventional relationship. I don’t want a full live-in person I’m responsible for. I’m responsible for my child.”
She added, “I feel like this is probably the healthiest relationship I have ever had. Like, we never fight. We never have any toxicity. We don’t argue. Nothing. He’s the best dad, and he’s so present.”
