Liverpool could be without Conor Bradley and Ibrahima Konate following respective hamstring and knee injuries, which the pair suffered in a 2-0 Champions League win over Real Madrid.

Alisson (hamstring), Konstantinos Tsimikas (ankle), Diogo Jota (rib) and Federico Chiesa (knock) remain sidelined.

Man City could be without defender, John Stones due to a foot injury which forced him to miss their 3-3 Champions League draw against Feyenoord.

Jeremy Doku (muscle) could feature if he is declared fit but Mateo Kovacic (unspecified), Oscar Bobb (leg) and Rodri (knee) remain ruled out.

Having claimed a dominant win over Real Madrid in midweek, Liverpool now must repeat their resilient tactics which cut off the likes of Jude Bellingham and Kylian Mbappe but this time on Kevin De Bruyne, Erling Haaland and co.

Man City though are on a six-match winless streak after a spectacular defensive collapse from 3-0 up against Feyenoord, underlining their fragilities which is a concern coming into this must-win fixture.

A huge improvement is therefore imperative otherwise I can see just one result coming if Liverpool play like they did in midweek.
