Plymouth Argyle host Watford at Home Park as the Championship returns from the international break.
Victory would see Plymouth climb to 14th in the table until Saturday afternoon, whilst Watford can climb to fourth with a win.

Stat Attack
- Plymouth have lost two of their last eight league meetings against Watford (W3, D3, L2).
- Watford have won one of their last six league visits to Plymouth (W1, D3, L2).
- Two of Plymouth’s last five second-tier home games against Watford ended in 3-3 draws.
- Five of Plymouth’s last six goals at home have been scored in the second half.
- Watford have lost six of their last seven away games in the Championship (W1, L6).
Prediction
With one loss in their last three matches, Plymouth seem to be finding some form but their strong home form will inspire extra confidence, yet they have just two clean sheets all season so their defence needs to be absolutely brilliant here.
Watford’s awful away form speaks for itself but they do have the quality to win this if they can start to bring some of their home momentum on the road, which I think is achievable if they can target Plymouth’s defence early.
Plymouth however are very difficult to beat at home but Watford are more than capable of nicking a draw.
Prediction: Plymouth 1-1 Watford
