Victor Lindelöf is ruled out for Man Utd after he suffered an unspecified injury in their Carabao Cup exit at Tottenham.

Mason Mount (leg) and Luke Shaw (unspecified) are still sidelined.

Bournemouth have no fresh injury concerns to report following their 1-1 draw against West Ham.

Julian Araujo, Luis Sinisterra (both hamstring), Marcus Tavernier, Marcos Senesi (both muscle) and Alex Scott (knee) remain absent.

Prediction

Defensive sloppiness was at the heart of Utd’s Carabao Cup exit but what was more worrying was the lack of urgency in attack, until Amad Diallo, Kobbie Mainoo and Joshua Zirkzee came on to spark life into them.

Ruben Amorim now need to start fining a line-up that can perform from the get-go rather than rely on substitutions to ignite the attack.

Bournemouth on the other hand have great memories of last season’s win at Old Trafford and are currently in decent form, but their shot conversion is their Achilles heel compared to their attacking dominance.

Utd’s defence though is there for the taking and if Bournemouth are polished, they should win this.
