Play-off chasing West Bromwich Albion host Bristol City in a Championship clash.
Victory can see West Brom climb to sixth if win by three goals or more, otherwise they will leapfrog Watford into seventh.
Bristol City can return to 10th in the table with a win.
Team News
Callum Styles is ruled out for West Brom after he suffered a knock in their 2-1 loss at Watford.
Grady Diangana (calf) and Paddy McNair (hamstring) could return but Semi Ajayi (hamstring) and Daryl Dike (Achilles) remain absent.
Bristol City will be without Sinclair Armstrong due to a hamstring injury.
George Tanner (unspecified), Joe Williams (Achilles) and Ayman Benarous (hamstring) remain sidelined.
When is Kick-Off?
West Brom host Bristol City at The Hawthorns on Sunday 22 December at 3pm GMT, live on Sky Sports in the UK.
Stat Attack
- West Brom are unbeaten in four of their last five league meetings against Bristol City (W2, D2, L1).
- Bristol City have won one of their last nine league visits to West Brom (W1, D1, L7).
- Both teams have won one of their last two meetings at The Hawthorns by 2-0 result apiece.
- Josh Maja has been involved in 12 goals for West Brom this season (10 goals and two assists).
- Cameron Pring has been booked in Bristol City’s last three away games.
Prediction
With a lack of creativity and defending against counter-attacks having cost West Brom at Watford in a rare defeat, I do expect them to bounce back here in a game which they can dominate with the right attitude.
Bristol City meanwhile aren’t the most consistent but with 1-1 draws in their last two games, Liam Manning’s Robins now need to work out how to hold onto their lead after blowing such leads in those two matches.
I however do think that Carlos Corberan’s Baggies will just have too much quality but Bristol City should provide a difficult test defensively.
Prediction: WBA 2-1 Bristol City
