Justin hails from California and works as a music engineer, producer and mixer. He has “over a decade of experience in making music — from engineering/mixing songs that have gone to #1 on iTunes in the U.S. and 20 other countries to performing live as part of a major-label signed band” and “is well versed in all aspects of the record-making process from creation to consumer,” according to his LinkedIn profile.
Justin graduated from Grace College and Seminary located in Winona, Indiana, with a bachelor’s degree in Science, Marketing, Business Administration. He’s worked with bands such as 5 Seconds of Summer, Grace Potter, Sleater Kinney and more.
When Did Paris Jackson and Justin Long Start Dating?
Justin and Paris worked together and had a professional relationship before things took a romantic turn. They’re currently bandmates and he previously shared on social media that he “recorded the vocals” for her song “Blue Moon.”
Paris and Justin began dating in 2022, according to E! News. While the couple has kept their relationship private for the most part, Paris did share photos of the proposal on Instagram. She combined the announcement with a birthday tribute to “Blue,” her nickname for Justin.
“Happy birthday my sweet blue. doing life with you these last years has been an indescribable whirlwind and i couldn’t dream of anyone more perfect for me to do it all with. thank you for letting me be yours. i love you,” Paris wrote alongside the carousel of photos shared on December 6, 2024.
There were several pictures of Paris and Justin together, including one of the actual proposal. In the shot, Paris wore denim shorts over sheer black tights paired with black knee-high boots. Justin was down on one knee while holding a ring box. Other images showed the two driving in a convertible, sharing a kiss at a carnival and a snap of them napping together.
The fashion model didn’t specify when Justin actually popped the question. However, eagle-eyed fans noticed that Paris was seemingly wearing an engagement ring at Paris Fashion Week in September 2024.

Before finding love with Justin, she was in a years-long relationship with musician Gabriel Glenn. The two met after Paris saw his band, Trash Dogs, perform in Los Angeles in 2018. They went on to have their own Facebook Watch series titled Unfiltered: Paris Jackson and Gabriel Glenn. During one episode, Paris revealed that “within a week” of meeting Gabriel she was already “living in his van.”
Paris also opened up about her sexuality during a 2020 episode of the series and said that she had “dated more women than men.”
“The public only knows about three long term relationships I’ve been with and they’ve been with men. The public doesn’t know about, like, most of the relationships I’ve been in,” Paris explained. “I say I’m gay because I guess I am, but I wouldn’t consider myself bisexual because I’ve dated more than just men and women, I’ve dated a man that had a vagina. It has nothing to do with what’s in your pants, it’s literally like, ‘What are you like as a person?’”
