Christmas Interruptus
The action in this Young and Restless spoilers preview for the week of December 23 opens up at the decked-out-for-Christmas ranch, where Nikki and Victor are busy kissing as the family stars arriving for their Christmas celebration. “We’re here,” announces Claire, who has brought her parents Cole and Victoria along with plenty of gifts. “You must really be feeling the holiday spirit. You’re not even standing under the mistletoe,” teases Claire. “Ohhh,” says her grandmother, wagging her finger at Claire. The mood is light and everyone is ready to enjoy the holiday.
New Beginnings?
The action then switches over to Society, where the Abbott ladies have gathered on the couch by the big window. Diane, in a nearby chair, makes a toast. “To overcoming challenges with courage and determination in true Abbott fashion,” she says. Traci and Ashley are being civil and even clink glasses with their sister-in-law. Ashley concurs saying, “Yeah, cheers to that.”
Tough Truths
At a table in the same restaurant, Michael and Lauren are enjoying a meal when Phyllis stops by, talking smack about Sharon, which motivates Lauren to say to her, “We will never, ever stop caring about you but there are things about this case against Sharon that you don’t know about.” This certainly catches Phyllis off-guard as she whips her head around to Lauren. “What do you know? Tell me,” she demands.
Enjoying The Day
Over at Sharon’s cottage, the family is gathered and singing a Christmas carol. “Fa la la, la la la, la la la,” sing Sharon and Nick, along with Faith, Tessa and Mariah. “Troll the ancient yuletide carol, fa la la la la la la la la.”
